There will be a new competition every half term to challenge your writing style and use of language.

It is also an opportunity to experiment and use your imagination and develop your voice.

January Term 2021 Competition

January Term Competition: Calling all budding journalists!

If the thought of speaking to different people and writing their stories sounds interesting, a career as a journalist might be just the thing for you.

For this competition you are to interview someone and use the information to write an article about them. They don’t have to be famous. Maybe they’re somebody you know with an interesting story? Maybe they’re a local hero who has been helping their community? Maybe they’re somebody who has inspired you?

Word count: A maximum of 600 words
Deadline: Friday 12th February, 6pm
